Thehangingrook This is great. Dungeon Synth and other offshoots of the genre are always atmospheric. However, this was the first time Favorite track: Return to the Inn (Time for an Ale).

mattkenney1024 Got the cassette in the mail. Shipped fast with cool extras. Really awesome cover artwork and inside sleeve with map. The sounds of walking between songs is genius. I followed the songs with the map. All the songs are on one side so it’s perfect for a Walkman with automatic playing each side (meaning the whole album is on each side 🤓) I must have listened 4 times and each time I wanted to grab an oversized mug and pour a sudsy ale. Highly recommended!!!

Join us on a ramble through the wicked, primeval forests surrounding the medieval hamlet of Thornbury-Upon-Severn. Grab your torch. Strap up your boots. We leave Travellers Rest Inn as twilight descends, our beaten and torn ramble map guiding the way along the Severn River...down to the Abandoned Church, then passing quickly by the Witches Cottage. We may greet strangers on the way, as we meander under the full moon. A glorious walk, indeed! Pack your pipe, this journey will lead us to much contemplation...and afterwards, see you back at The Inn! The next pint of fine ale is on me!

Contrary to the grim artwork, Wandeweorpe is a very comforting and introspective experience. I feel like slowly walking alongside a still lake in the dark winter months, taking in the cold and fresh air of an overcast sky as slivers of hope and serenity pass by me. A very uplifting and freeing feeling. Maybe the cover isn't all that discordant after all and wading through the dark reaches is a necessary step towards grasping the light. MarsDragoner

My favourite discoveries on Bandcamp are those albums I didn't know I needed. Beautiful, meditative music carrying the spirit of both epic and doom metal. I am reminded of Pagan Altar as well as the acoustic pieces in Lord Vicar's discography. Cathartic! Sojourner
